Snapshot

Privacy

Snapshot is in a limited, free public test. We collect only what is needed to sign you in, connect repositories, publish sites, prevent abuse, and understand basic service health.

Account data

WorkOS handles sign-in. Snapshot stores your WorkOS user ID, email, display details, and the GitHub App installations and repositories you choose to connect.

Published data

The test phase is for public repositories. Built site files, commit and provenance metadata, coverage summaries, sizes, and publish timestamps are stored in Cloudflare R2 and Supabase. Published pages are public and may be cached.

Operational data

Cloudflare processes normal request data such as IP address and country for delivery and abuse controls. Snapshot records aggregate page views, publish events, failures, and rate-limit keys. We do not run advertising trackers or sell personal data.

Service providers

Snapshot uses Cloudflare for hosting and analytics, GitHub for repository access and builds, WorkOS for authentication, and Supabase for the small account and publication index. Their own privacy terms apply to data they process.

Retention and deletion

Published files remain until you remove them from the dashboard, remove the repository from the GitHub App, uninstall the App, or we take them down. Operational records are retained only as needed to run and protect this test. To request deletion of your remaining account data, email dalejamesblack at gmail dot com.

Test-phase changes

Limits and this policy may change as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page before a broader launch.
